This initiative- a collaboration between the Adani Foundation, the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore (part of Nanyang Technological University), and Temasek Foundation- showcased how students integrated real-world community challenges into their classrooms. By analyzing problems and proposing solutions, the learning experience became more student-led and connected to real-life issues.
The STEM Symposium, held from February 17 to 19, 2025, was attended by 36 educators from seven Adani Schools. These educators designed and presented their STEM-based CBSE curriculum lessons to a panel of six experts from NIE Singapore, further strengthening their pedagogical approach. The event was graced by consultants from NIE Singapore, District Education Officer (DEO) Shri Rohit Chaudhari, and 20 selected teachers from Ahmedabad city government schools.
During the event, DEO Ahmedabad City reaffirmed his commitment to implementing this curriculum across all state board schools, underscoring its potential for a nationwide impact. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and the National Curriculum Framework 2023 (NCF 2023), supporting the vision of a future-ready education system.
The program, supported by Temasek Foundation, Singapore, reflects a strong global partnership in advancing STEM education in India.
Adani Foundation extends its gratitude to Dr. Priti G. Adani, Chairperson, Adani Foundation, for her pioneering vision, and Shri Vasant Gadhavi, Executive Director, for his invaluable mentorship throughout this transformative journey.
