From Our Classrooms to Civic Leadership A Proud Homecoming

 NRC School, Mohone, Kalyan, Mumbai (managed by Adani Foundation) was deeply honoured to welcome back its distinguished alumna, Mrs. Harshali Vijay Choudhary (Thavil), Mayor of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation, as the Changemaker.

From a young girl walking through the corridors of NRC School (Std. 1 to 10), Batch 2005-06, to leading one of the largest municipal corporation today, her journey is a testament to the transformative power of education, discipline, and gratitude. With warmth and humility, she revisited her childhood memories and acknowledged her teachers as the guiding force behind her success.

Her heartfelt message to students was simple yet profound: “My achievements today are the result of sincerely listening to my teachers and following their guidance.”

She urged students to respect their teachers, remain disciplined, set clear goals, and work consistently with dedication, reminding them that leadership begin with strong values. The interactive Q&A that followed reflected her commitment to nurturing the next generation, encouraging them not only to dream big but to serve society with integrity and purpose.
